Training System Maintenance Task Analysis (TSMTA) - The Training System Maintenance Task Analysis (TSMTA) is the identification of the steps, spares, materials, tools, support equipment, and personnel that must be considered for a given repair task. TSMTAs cover both scheduled (preventive) and unscheduled (corrective) maintenance tasks and, when complete, identifies all physical resources required to support a training system in accordance with the Government’s maintenance concept. Cybersecurity-cyber hygiene tasks must be considered for all training system network system and host based applications, including all non-network systems with information assurance vulnerabilities. At a minimum, Cyber hygiene tasks must include Scanning, Patching, Reporting, Configuration Management, Log File Analysis, and Host Based Security System or Host Intrusion Prevention System.
